Most Azure Bay pools go from signed design to swimming in about 14 weeks. Here's exactly what happens, and when.

Design Consult

We visit your yard, listen to how you'll use the pool, measure, and build your photoreal 3D design with a fixed price.

Permits & Engineering

County permits, engineering drawings and HOA packages — handled entirely by our in-house permitting team.

Weeks 1–4

Dig & Steel

Excavation, plumbing runs and the reinforced steel cage that gives your shell its lifetime strength.

Weeks 5–6

Shell, Deck & Features

Gunite shell, tile and coping, deck pavers, and installation of your spa, waterfall, lighting and equipment.

Weeks 7–11

Plaster, Fill & Swim School

Interior finish, fill, startup chemistry — then a hands-on lesson so you can run everything from your phone.

Our Story

Started with one backyard in Sarasota. Still family-run.

Azure Bay Pool Builders was founded in 1998 by Marco Delgado, a third-generation pool builder who poured his first shell at sixteen in his father's crew. Marco's founding rule still runs the company: the person who designs your pool answers for it until you swim.

Today his daughter Elena leads design and his son-in-law runs the build crews — but every project still gets a Delgado on the weekly walkthrough. 240 pools later, most of our work arrives by referral from neighbors who watched a build happen next door.
